Green Island Grocery was founded in December 2025 with a simple goal: to bring Columbus a smaller, more convenient grocery option without sacrificing quality or selection. We saw a need for a locally owned store that makes everyday shopping easier, while still offering the specialty products, fresh items, and hard-to-find goods that big chains often overlook.
